| Job Summary | Temporary Full-Time Faculty Lecturer Position Department of Health & Clinical Sciences The Department of Health & Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the University of Kentucky is currently accepting applications for a full-time 10-month lecturer (non-tenure eligible) faculty member for the 2026-2027 academic year, to begin August 1, 2026. This is a temporary position. Primary duties for this position will be teaching in the Human Health Sciences undergraduate program. We invite you to become part of a supportive community of dynamic and dedicated faculty focused on being national leaders in instruction, research/scholarship, and service to impact others positively. The Human Health Sciences (HHS) degree is a pre-professional program for students interested in healthcare careers. The HHS degree offers a liberal arts foundation designed to provide students with a comprehensive look at health care practices to complement a solid foundation in basic science. HHS graduates are prepared to pursue advanced professional degrees in healthcare, such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, optometry, athletic training, medical research, and more. Students are also being prepared for careers in patient navigation, leadership, and other graduate studies. The primary duties of this faculty position will be teaching undergraduate courses in the HHS program. The anticipated effort for this position is Instruction 95-98%, teaching 4 classes/semester, and 2-5% for department service and professional development.
