Job Duties:
Rooming patients;
Obtaining vitals and patient histories;
Assisting physician and providers with procedures and exams;
May require floating within the department as necessary;
Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms;
Ordering supplies;
Electronic charting;
Telephone interactions;
Pre-certifications/pre-authorizations;
Scheduling;
- As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
- Other duties as necessary/assigned.
CERTIFIED NURSES ASSISTANTS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSIITON BUT MUST BE WILLING TO OBTAIN CERTIFICATION IN CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTING WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT IF HIRED
