| Job Summary | Temporary Full-Time Instructor Department of Gender and Women's Studies University of Kentucky The Department of Gender and Women's Studies (GWS) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, invites applications for a Temporary Full Time Instructor for the academic year 26-27 to begin August 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach four courses each semester potentially including Gender and Popular Culture; Health History and Human Diversity; Social Movements; and/or other courses that meet University of Kentucky Core Requirements in U.S. Citizenship and Culture and Global Dynamics. We encourage applications from candidates with demonstrated undergraduate teaching experience and knowledge of instructional technology. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Gender and Women's Studies as well as experience teaching a range of Gender and Women's Studies courses and demonstrated undergraduate teaching effectiveness. Ph.D. in Gender and Women's Studies is required at time of appointment. Applicants must include the following: 1) letter of application (upload as Cover Letter), 2) CV and 3) teaching statement (upload as specific statement 1).
