Created in collaboration with Mayo Clinic, Beyond Fertility is an AI-first fertility and family-building platform reimagining how fertility care is delivered and paid for. We are building a “fertility clinic in the cloud” – a precision, virtual-first model focused on better outcomes, lower costs, and a dramatically better patient experience.

Our first product, Beyond Fertility, transforms the confusing “trying to conceive” experience into a personalized, data-driven journey using comprehensive diagnostics, predictive care pathways, and a high-touch virtual care team. We partner with leading REI clinics and academic institutions to deliver care that is smarter, earlier, and more targeted.

We are now hiring our first Reproductive Endocrinologist to help build this care model from the ground up. Our clinical protocols and care pathways are co-developed in collaboration with Mayo Clinic REIs and are continuously refined through outcomes tracking and research.

The Role

This is a founding clinical role for an REI who is eager to design the future of fertility care.

You will provide virtual-only fertility consultations and serve as the senior clinical authority for fertility evaluation and care planning. You will not perform procedures or manage IVF cycles. Instead, you will focus on diagnostic interpretation, clinical reasoning, and guiding patients to the right next step in their fertility journey.

You’ll work closely with NPs, RNs, and care coordinators, as well as product and operations teams, to translate medical judgment into scalable systems.

What You’ll Do

Virtual Clinical Care & Oversight

     Provide fertility consultations via telehealth

     Interpret and review diagnostic testing, including hormonal labs, semen analysis, and transvaginal ultrasound imaging

     Create TVUS reports based on raw images

     Create individualized care plans for Beyond patients and couples, including referral to REI partners for IUI, IVF

     Manage Oral ovulation induction protocols virtually

     Provide clinical oversight of fertility nurses NPs and the clinical care team (without direct people management responsibility)

     Serve as point of contact for our REI referral partners for complex patient cases

     Serve as escalation point for complex fertility and diagnostic cases

Care Model & Protocol Design

     Co-develop evidence-based care protocols in collaboration with Beyond’s Head of Product and Mayo Clinic REIs

     Develop escalation protocols in partnership with REI partners and Head of Product

     Ensure alignment with evidence-based standards (e.g., ASRM)

     Participate in clinical quality review and outcomes tracking

Build With the Company

     Serve as a clinical thought partner to Beyond Product as we continue to develop both clinician and patient-facing products and services

     Contribute to patient education and clinical content

Clinical Leadership

     Help establish clinical governance and documentation standards

     Collaborate with partner clinics in our Center of Excellence network

     Define what high-quality, tech-enabled fertility care looks like at scale

What We’re Looking For

     MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

     Licensed in California and Minnesota (or eligible to obtain)

     Comfortable and excited to deliver care using cutting edge technology

     Comfort providing virtual fertility consultations and supervising advanced practice clinicians

     Interest in technology-enabled care delivery and care model innovation

     Excited by building something new

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

This role is:

     100% virtual

     Focused on care planning and decision-making

     Upstream of IVF/IUI procedures

     Involves some oversight of fertility APPs

This role is not:

     Performing procedures

     Running IUI/IVF cycles (currently)

     Managing an embryology lab

     An advisory-only position
