Description
NORTON SURGICAL SPECIALISTS – LOUISVILLE GENERAL SURGERY is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible general surgeon with experience or training in abdominal wall reconstruction/complex hernia repairs to join its growing practice in Louisville, Kentucky on the campus of Norton Audubon Hospital. The group currently has five general surgeons and three advanced practice providers and regularly collaborates with clinicians in disciplines such as oncology, gastroenterology, breast health and plastic surgery.
Norton Surgical Specialists – Louisville General Surgery is a progressive group offering key services within Norton Medical Group, a physician-led medical group that employs more than 2,300 medical providers and offers a strong network of referrals.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Experience or training with abdominal wall reconstruction/complex hernia repairs preferred
- Access to on-site technology such as the da Vinci Xi
- On-call coverage for the practice and emergency department
- Opportunity to collaborate with a variety of clinicians through participation in multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boards

REQUIREMENTS
- Medical degree/diploma
- Residency/fellowship certification
- Kentucky medical license or license eligible
