We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accreditation Manager to join the Pri-Med team! This multifaceted role partners with the VP, Accreditation to ensure that Pri-Med Institute’s CME/CE program is innovative, collaborative, effective, and meets the high standards of our learners, partners and supporters. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment, managing multiple concurrent projects with precision and attention to detail. This position can be fully remote, or, if Boston-based, a hybrid role with in-person office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Pri-Med’s headquarters in the Back Bay section of Boston.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Continuing Education Accreditation and Compliance
- Manage day-to-day compliance with ACCME, AAFP, AANP, and CBRN accreditation standards, MOC requirements, AMA credit system, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate review and input of documentation (credit values, partner statements, disclosures, etc.) for all CME/CE activities.
- Serve as subject matter expert on accreditation and pertinent regulatory guidelines, partnering with the VP, Accreditation to train team members on accreditation, department policies, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation needed for reaccreditation, audits, and internal reviews.
- Manage financial disclosure review, mitigation, documentation, and communication processes.
- Modify workflows as needed to ensure staff can more easily adhere to CME/CE requirements in day-to-day duties.
- Help Pri-Med Institute maintain ACCME Accreditation with Commendation and Innovation Partner status by working with the team to assess best practices and implement process improvements.
State Requirements and Reporting
- Oversee timely reporting of CME activity and learner completion data to ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS), working collaboratively with internal teams on automated processes and reporting.
- Ensure MOC requirements are implemented through internal systems.
- Manage CE Broker activity reporting and work collaboratively with data team on credit reporting.
- Maintain current database of state medical boards’ CME/CE requirements, and update internal systems as needed.
- Respond to customer support inquiries regarding credits and reporting.
- Recommend practical improvements to learning systems, workflows, templates, and administrative tools.
- Oversee timely reporting of CME activity and learner completion data to ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS), working collaboratively with internal teams on automated processes and reporting.
Operations
- Support virtual and in-person educational events through on-site support, customer service, or other logistics as needed.
- Collaborate with digital, marketing, education and clinical teams on content, ensuring appropriate credit and communication requirements are in place for all CME/CE activities and support materials.
- Create, maintain, and regularly update standard operating procedures for accreditation, activity review, PARS reporting, CE Broker reporting, and disclosure management.
- Establish clear workflows, templates, checklists, and quality-control processes that support cross-training and continuity of operations.
- Appropriately utilize technology and AI platforms to support job responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of professional accreditation experience
- Exceptional organizational, time management, project management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Customer service mindset for internal customers
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
- Experience with Salesforce and Smartsheet preferred
- Travel to 2-4 Pri-Med conferences and industry meetings per year, as well as Pri-Med’s Boston office 1-2 times per year
